The 3rd Patchogue Arts Council's Walking Arts Tour is On Aug. 28th - Nov. 4th.

This past Saturday, August 28th was the Kick-Off Party for the Patchogue Arts Council's 3rd Walking Arts Tour. It was held at the Center for Visual Arts on Blue Point Avenue in Blue Point. A large crowd attended and are excited because the tour has expanded. The larger portion of the tour is located in Village of Patchogue, then Blue Point, Bayport and Sayville. The tour will run until Thursday, Novrember 4th, 2010.


The Walking Arts Tour is an exhibit where local artists submit their work to display in the windows and storefronts of local businesses. Each year this tour gets more refined - this year note how the work is exhibited is done really well. I noticed how easy it is to spot the work - most work is frame in a orange boarder.
